Accounting Project Manager

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a pharmaceutical client within the Project Management & Strategic Operations (PMSO) team. This contractor will lead execution of a Legal Entity & Governance Optimization (LEGO) program. This role will manage project governance, reporting, cross functional alignment, and delivery across IT and business teams.
The PM will work closely with IT partners in Data, Technology & Engineering, as well as stakeholders across Accounting, Tax, and Treasury, ensuring workstreams are accurately tracked, risks/issues are managed, and outcomes are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive project governance, scope, schedule, resource planning, and dependency management
• Manage technical project components including integrations, reporting, data migration, and system configuration
• Lead risk/issue identification, mitigation planning, and cross functional communication
• Support change management, stakeholder engagement, and business adoption
• Deliver clear, timely, and accurate project status reporting
• Partner with external consulting teams to ensure aligned execution and reporting

• Experience with PPM tools, backlog prioritization, and project financials (CapEx/OpEx)


Payrate - $95-100/hr

- 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 as a Project Manager
- Clear understanding of intercompany accounting concepts (invoicing, matching, settlement)
- Familiarity with inhouse banking within treasury
- Direct ownership of project governance in accounting/tax domains
- Executive level communication presence

- Experience with high-growth stage biotechnology companies
- Agile CSM, PSM or similar certification and direct experience
- PMP certification
- Experience with implementing or expanding Intercompany Accounting and Settlement solutions such as Blackline, Oracle E-Business Suite accounting applications and Kyriba treasury management
