Job Description
The Contract Manager I is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contracts, from creation and submission of contract packages or change orders through contract closure and issuance of purchase orders. This role supports stakeholders by creating accurate and compliant Purchase Requests (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP MM‑PUR, managing delegated micro‑contracts up to $25K, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure compliant, cost‑effective procurement. The position also supports contract governance, documentation accuracy, and supplier performance in a regulated environment.

Required Skills & Experience
• 1–3 years of experience in contract management, procurement, or related roles
• Proficiency with SAP MM‑PUR, including creation of Purchase Requests (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs)
• Ability to interpret legal documents and contractual terms
• Experience managing contracts or delegated spend within defined governance controls
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience supporting supplier performance monitoring or consequence management
• Exposure to contract package development, scopes of work, annexes, or direct assignment justifications
• Experience coordinating with Procurement on new contracts or change orders
• Familiarity with purchasing catalogs, material groups, or contract alignment
-Prior experience in regulated or governance‑driven environments
