Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Sr Electrical Engineer for a large Energy Management Company. The ideal candidate will provide engineering-level support across the full lifecycle of both new and legacy products, with a focus on PCB design and electrical troubleshooting. They will lead one or more printed circuit board (PCB) design projects within a global R&D team, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the continuous improvement of product design and manufacturing processes. The compensation is based on years of experience and ranges from $55-59/hr.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (4-year program required).
• 8–10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on analog/digital circuit design and power electronics.
• Proficiency in PCB design tools, especially Cadence Allegro, and familiarity with PLM systems like Windchill PDM.
• Strong troubleshooting and testing skills, including use of CROs, AC/DC sources, multimeters, and data loggers.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring ability, with experience guiding junior engineers and leading technical projects.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with Ladder Logic and industrial control software, such as GE Proficy or Modicon Control Expert.
• Cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with mechanical, manufacturing, and project management teams.
