The Asset Records Management Specialist is responsible for ensuring the integrity, completeness, and accuracy of natural gas asset data within a natural gas utilitys asset management system. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to independently assess and interpret various data sources.
Responsibilities:
Data Verification: Independently review and verify natural gas asset data from multiple sources, including construction drawings, electronic files, paper records, spreadsheets, and databases.
Data Integrity: Assess data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency, ensuring alignment with established data standards and quality control measures.
Data Reconciliation: Compare and reconcile data from different sources to identify discrepancies and resolve conflicts.
Data Analysis: Analyze asset data to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues.
Data Entry: Accurately input verified data into the Operators system of record.
Data Management: Maintain and organize asset records, ensuring easy accessibility and retrieval.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and resolve data-related issues.

2+ years in a Data Entry or Records Management role (or similar)
Proficiency in data management and analysis tools
Knowledge of natural gas industry and asset management principles (preferred)
