An employer is searching for a First Grade Stationary Engineer in the Towson, MD area. This person will be responsible for operating and maintaining Boilers, Chillers, Generators, Pumps, and general Power Plant equipment to provide necessary utilities to the employers campus. This person will also assist in maintaining constant watch of Dials, Meters, Gauges, and Energy Management Systems to ensure proper operations and detect equipment malfunctions. Additionally, they will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Power Plant equipment as well as perform Water Treatment tests on Boilers, Cooling Towers, and Chilled Water Systems. This person will inspect, paint, clean, and make general repairs to Power Plant equipment and will also be responsible for maintaining proper records, logs, and updating operational data as required and communicating critical information about the Power Plant to the next shifts.
