Insight Global is seeking Distribution Designers to support a major electric utility company out of Sparks, MD. This individual will be designing residential and commercial electric systems using Microstation for approval by Federal, state and local agencies. These projects will be both large projects and smaller asset work. This individual will gain design experience in road relocation and electrical/power distribution design with a combination of aerial and underground systems. Other responsibilities include reading utility plans and records, traveling to client field sites to meet with the construction crews, communicating with clients at a high level confidently, and shifting responsibilities in order to accommodate the current work load requirements.
