Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate all aspects of the release process using Copado.
Work closely with Copado DevSecOps Engineers, Salesforce Developers, Test Automation Engineers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to plan and execute releases
Ensure that all changes are thoroughly tested and validated before deployment
Maintain and optimize the Copado release management tool, including workflows, pipelines, and integrations.
Develop and enforce best practices for release management, including version control, continuous integration, continuous deployment, semantic versioning, and release artifacts
Create and maintain detailed release documentation, including release notes, deployment plans, and rollback procedures
Monitor and troubleshoot issues in the release process, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on operations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on release schedules and priorities
Provide training and support to team members on Copado and release management processes
Ensure appropriate controls are met in the release and deployment process
Effectively communicate technical and business strategies to internal and external stakeholders
Lead and document root cause analyses for deployment and release issues
Develop a sense of shared ownership of release issues and commitment to delivery among scrum masters, engineers, and other practices
Understands the motivations and dependencies that drive teams to deliver continuously and iteratively, consistent with high value solutions
Continuously improve the release process to increase efficiency and reduce risk
Stay updated on the latest Copado and Salesforce developments and recommend new features or practices to improve our release management process.
