Job Description

* Ingest, transform, and analyze data using SAS, Python, or R.

* Develop and apply sample weighting and risk-adjustment methods.

* Produce summary data reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint.

* Support the development of detailed data reports.

* Support ad-hoc analyses and studies to identify trends across time and sample populations.

* Perform data quality assessments to identify anomalies, determine potential causes of anomalies, and suggest remedial actions.

* Support the validation and enhancement of data abstraction processes, algorithms, and measures.

* Communicate findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

* Recognized expert in the field.

* A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, or other related scientific or technical discipline.

* With eight years of general information technology experience and at least four years of specialized experience, a degree is not required.

* At least 10 years' experience in statistical programming, data analysis, data interpretation, and writing manuscripts.

* At least 5 years' experience in directing other analysts in designing and writing statistical coding that is required for all data analysis tasks, and proficiency in SAS or other similar statistical software(s).

* At least 5 years' experience in providing statistical consultation in healthcare research.

* Demonstrated publication records to reflect the principal statistician's ability to serve as primary author in healthcare research.

* Demonstrated ability to design and write special analysis programs.
