Job Description
Insight Global Health is seeking an on‑site Commercial Inpatient Facility Billing Specialist to support hospital billing operations for LifeBridge Health. This role will manage the full lifecycle of commercial inpatient claims, including claim submission, identification and correction of errors or rejections, follow‑up on unpaid or underpaid claims, and preparation of appeals when necessary to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement.
Daily responsibilities include researching claim status, resolving denials and payment variances, maintaining compliance with payer and hospital billing guidelines, and meeting productivity expectations of approximately 40–75 claims per day (based on claim complexity). The specialist will collaborate closely with internal billing, reimbursement, and follow‑up teams to reduce aging accounts receivable and maintain clean claim metrics.

Required Skills & Experience
Hands‑on experience with commercial inpatient facility billing
Strong understanding of commercial payer rules, reimbursement models, and billing workflows
Experience working claim rejections, errors, denials, underpayments, and appeals
Proven ability to manage detailed, resolution‑heavy claims requiring research and follow‑through
Proficiency using hospital billing systems and EMRs for inpatient claims processing
Ability to work high‑volume claim queues with accuracy and strong attention to detail
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Cerner Millennium
