Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Welder / Fabricator to support production at nVent’s Millington manufacturing facility. This role will focus on performing high-quality welds and supporting fabrication work in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG/TIG/Stick welding on steel, aluminum, and other materials
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and job specifications to complete fabrication work
Set up and operate welding equipment, torches, and plasma cutters
Inspect welds and ensure work meets quality and safety standards
Use hand and power tools including grinders, buffers, and cutting equipment
Support general fabrication and production activities as needed
Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all SOPs

Required Skills & Experience
High School Diploma or GED
At least one year of welding experience
Able to read tape measures and blueprints
Ability to properly operate welding equipment.
Must be trained in applicable SOPs and work instructions
Skilled in utilizing cutting torches, brushes, pads, buffers, grinders, overhead cranes, and rubber hammers
Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands:
Standing /Walking for extended periods of time,
Lift up to 50lbs.,
Work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
Wear the required PPE for the given position.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Multi-position welding experience (horizontal, vertical, overhead)
Experience inspecting, repairing, and finishing welds
Background in fabrication or manufacturing environments
Ability to work from detailed layouts, schematics, and job specs
Exposure to multiple welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick, FCAW)
Experience with plasma cutting, torches, and metal finishing tools
Familiarity with lean manufacturing or production environments
Trade school certification or formal welding training
Experience working with sheet metal or structural components
