Insight Global is seeking a Temporary Part Time Data Entry Support Specialist for a manufacturing client. This individual will support the Sales & Estimating team by completing accurate data entry related to Bills of Materials for an electrical panel shop. This is not a full estimator role; the candidate will receive training from the Estimating Manager on the specific formatting and entry processes. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, reliable, and comfortable doing accuracy focused work onsite in Millington, MD.
Day to Day:
• Interpret electrical panel write ups and enter info per guidelines
• Complete data entry using Excel templates and worksheets
• Input and validate Bills of Materials (components, wire, labor, quantities)
• Proofread entries for accuracy and completeness
• Support estimator by providing clean, error free data entry
• Assist with workload overflow within Sales & Estimating

Required Skills & Experience
Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word
• Exceptional attention to detail, especially with numbers/quantities
• Ability to accurately transfer information between documents/worksheets
• Comfortable receiving training, coaching, and following structured processes
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience in construction, electrical, or manufacturing environments
• Experience supporting estimating, operations, or project teams
• Exposure to BOM entry, electrical estimating, panel shops, or take offs
• Administrative/coordinator experience in a technical setting
