A client of Insight Global is looking for a Trend Analyst to sit fully onsite in Middle River, MD with a strong background in sales data analysis and inventory strategy. This individual will be responsible for forecasting product needs by evaluating historical sales patterns and anticipating future demand to support procurement and production planning. The ideal candidate will bring experience in high-value or high-volume manufacturing environmentsparticularly in industries like automotive, aerospace, electronics, or related sectors. Responsibilities include building and maintaining Excel-based dashboards, pivot tables, and visual reporting tools to track key performance indicators and support business decisions. The analyst must be comfortable presenting funding requests and insights to senior leadership, offering clear and actionable recommendations that align with strategic goals.
Compensation:
$30/hr to $32/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Bachelors Degree or 10+ years of experience in trend forecasting
2+ years in supply chain forecasting
Experience analyzing sales history to anticipate how much product to order
Experience in planning and inventory management, specifically demand planning, analyzing trends, calculating future demands
Experience working in manufacturing, electronics, automobiles, aviation, aerospace or similar industry. Must have either high volume or high value
Expertise in Excel creating spreadsheets, charting, visualizations, pivot tables
Comfortable briefing senior leadership on funding requests
