Job Description
This role partners closely with senior leaders to shape and execute HR strategies that support organizational goals, leading workforce planning, organizational design, and change initiatives while delivering data driven insights for informed decision making. It maintains regular collaboration with divisional leadership, advising on restructures, succession planning, and training effectiveness. The position manages cross functional HR projects—including restructuring efforts, policy deployments, and system implementations—by establishing clear plans, tracking milestones, addressing risks, and driving ongoing process improvements. It serves as a key resource for employee and labor relations, handling conflict resolution, policy interpretation, grievance processes, contract administration, and collective bargaining preparation, while supporting leaders in performance management and fostering a productive, compliant workplace. The role conducts impartial workplace investigations, gathers and analyzes evidence, documents findings, and recommends appropriate actions with strict confidentiality and legal alignment. It produces and interprets HR reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, presenting actionable insights to leadership.
Compensation:
$40/hr to $45/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience working in an HR role
• Bachelors degree OR HR certification
• Experience working in employee and labor relations specific to a union
• Experience working with senior leaders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals and lead workforce planning, organizational design, and change management initiatives
• Experience leading and managing cross functional special projects for HR
o Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery of initiatives
• Knowledge of HRIS software – SAP, Kronos, UKG, ADP
