Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Systems Engineer with an RF focus to support mission-critical public safety programs. This hybrid role is based in Linthicum, MD, with on-site work expected 3x/week depending on program needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a fast learner, and motivated to grow as well as brings expertise in areas such as radio programming, RF theory, telecommunications, and networking. This position may require Yankee White clearance, and we’re looking for someone willing and eligible to pursue it if needed.
$70hr to $80hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Required Skills & Experience
-Proficiency with Putty, Wireshark, and WinSCP for remote access, network diagnostics, and secure file transfers.
-Strong Linux and system administration skills.
-Experience configuring Juniper devices using Junos OS.
-Familiarity with VMware ESXi for VM deployment.
-Working knowledge of Active Directory for access control and user management.
-Proven ability to produce clear, professional technical documentation
-Strong Networking Background
-Proficiency in MS Visio and Microsoft Office Suite
-Active TS/SCI Security Clearence
-Willingness to obtain YW Security Clearence
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Bachelor's Degree from a technical discipline (mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering, ect.)
-Strong understanding of RF Theory and Operations
-Experience with ASTRO product line software/systems (UNC, PM, UEM, KMF, AXS Consoles, M-Cores, K-Cores, etc.. )
-Familiarity with Radio Programming Software (CPS)
-Experience with G-series Programming Software (CSS)
