Job Description

We are searching for a skilled and innovative Director of Marketing, ideally with experience in the data center, technology or construction industry who can take the lead on a number of key strategic marketing projects that span multiple markets, sectors and customer profiles. This director possesses the energy, creative spirit, passion and resilience with a customer centric mindset to work closely with the largest data center experts, developers and contractors worldwide. As a senior member of a global marketing team, your marketing mindset will help sharpen our commercial propositions, drive awareness, and help support the delivery of the ambitious growth objectives of the business. While largely working in close collaboration with local commercial and engineering teams, as the marketing expert, you will take the lead on key marketing decisions for the Tate US and surrounding businesses. GTM best in class execution is part of your DNA however where you excel is extending the insights from your in-depth customer profiling and segmentation approach to bring to life key messages that resonate and engage. With exceptional written and verbal communications skills, you will be adept to multi-tasking both strategic as well as transactional projects as well as navigating our leadership team ensuring the right level of communications at all times to manage alignment and focus on priorities. This role is fast paced requiring a seasoned smart independent thinker who has the marketing mindset to drive forward our thought leadership strategic campaigns as well as lead our local marketing team to raise the bar in order to best represent our growing brand.



Key Responsibilities:

- Define Tate's Marketing Strategy for both our data center key customers and commercial office key customers while working with local teams and agencies to achieve business goals and objectives in line with the global Tate brand and mar coms approach.

- Collaborate with other departments and manage external agencies to execute campaigns that increase brand awareness, brand loyalty, and drive revenue growth.

- Set the pace in terms of CX leaning on marketing to bring to life those mechanics that will allow customers to feel the difference when being supported by the Tate brand that differentiates us from our competition.

- Interpret industry trends and adopt learnings accordingly within our business that sharpen our propositions and messaging as well as improve on our digital toolkit that enable our team to work with efficiencies at scale that ultimately provide value to our customer.

- As the brand gatekeeper, your responsibility is to instill discipline within the use of our brand architecture, while providing the businesses with the relevant tools to bring the brand to life at a practical level. Clear understanding of our brands at all levels is important aspect as we look to develop our brand portfolio.

- Develop and inspire your team of marketing leads to focus efforts within our key customer streams in order to manage all coms touchpoints effectively and proactively.

- Manage our thought leadership content and ambassadors across all touchpoints to ensure our key brand messages are always being delivered effectively, consistently and in line with our brand guidelines.

- As expected your role will oversee the management of the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve desired results, ensuring competitor and market insight is surfaced and shared appropriately and campaign results are tracked with reports available forming part of key business reviews demonstrating progress and conversion within the market.

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications:

- BS/BA in Marketing/Digital Marketing or equivalent experience in a Marketing Manager role.

- Minimum of 15+ years in marketing within either the data center or construction industry.

- Experience executing campaigns via Salesforce or similar CRM tools and the ability to take the lead as the local Salesforce ambassador.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Must possess a positive 'can-do' attitude who is both a collaborative team player and inspiring team leader, eager to jump with flexibility for some travel as and when required.

- Like all good leaders, the ability to effectively communicate and influence others.

- Excellent attention to detail.

- Must be a self-starter, able to self-manage as projects are assigned.

- Reporting to and supporting the Divisional Marketing Director, the role will be diverse and dynamic. Interpersonal skills are critical, as it demands an interface across teams, suppliers and agencies.

- Excellent time management and organization skills, and the ability to be flexible and creative.
