My client, a federally focused research and consulting firm, is looking for a Civil Design Support Engineer to support their federal customer in Indian Head, Maryland. This work is supporting a new, 5 year federal award for complete facility renovations in a complex, lab and industrial environment. This person will join a team of 5 total engineers, each one responsible for a different engineering discipline. The civil design support engineer will develop civil designs for renovations and upgrades to existing buildings. They will prepare civil engineering calculations, design drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for design packages.

- Bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related field
- 8+ years civil engineering experience
- proficient in completing facility design services & supporting review of designs in industrial settings
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
