Insight Global is looking for a full-time Process Engineer to work onsite in Havre De Grace, MD to support one of our chemical manufacturing clients. This role will lead process engineering initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, resolve recurring production issues, and support new product introductions while aligning with global best practices and capital project needs. The engineer will analyze process and quality data, perform feasibility studies, drive continuous improvement, support digital transformation efforts, and implement measures to reduce variation and optimize manufacturing performance. Additional responsibilities include supporting root‑cause investigations, managing scope and technical requirements for capital projects, coordinating implementation through startup and commissioning, and promoting a strong culture of safety, quality, and collaboration.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a chemical processing environment
• Strong troubleshooting abilities with proven root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action experience
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting P&ID diagrams and other technical drawings and specifications
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with mixing operations and film‑coating processes
• Six Sigma statistical training and Lean manufacturing experience
