Job Description

This role is responsible for designing electrical control panel layouts, bills of materials, and detailed schematics using CAD software, while engineering both power and control circuits to support project requirements. The position involves estimating electrical costs and developing project budgets aligned with proposal scopes, as well as programming PLCs for control systems that integrate various field devices such as photo eyes, shaft encoders, barcode scanners, pneumatics, scales, motors, and VFDs. The engineer will oversee the installation and provide technical support for PLC-based hardware and software, working closely with mechanical and electrical field installers to ensure successful implementation.

In addition, the role requires strict adherence to established procedures and guidelines, conducting electrical system audits to maintain high-quality standards, and developing comprehensive electrical documentation packages, including descriptions of operations and system interfaces. The individual will be present on-site during system startup to coordinate efforts and resolve issues as they arise. A key responsibility also includes verifying that all completed work aligns accurately with project documentation and specifications.

Compensation: $90,000 to $120,000 per year annual salary.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
