Job Description
Role Summary:
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Medical Assistant to assist with the onboarding & operations of a clinical trial. This role will support trial procedures that include brief clinical interactions, patient interviews, sample collection, and coordinating shipment of specimens to the laboratory.
Responsibilities & Day to Day:
- Conduct patient interviews according to study protocols
See between 5-15 patients per day
- Assist with simple sample collection procedures
- Prepare specimens (e.g., placing samples in test tubes, properly packaging)
- Manage shipping logistics (e.g., FedEx pickups/labels) by shipping out specimen samples once per shift.
- Support general administrative and operational trial tasks
- Collaborate with surgeons and study teams to ensure
Schedule:
Monday 8:00A-4:00 PM
Wednesday 8:00A-12:00 PM

Required Skills & Experience
- Experience working in a patient facing role
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfortable with patient interaction and basic clinical workflows
- Educated on HIPAA compliance
- Thoroughness and timeliness, attention to detail.
- Comfortable working Mondays and Wednesdays in office
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Medical Assistant (MA) certification preferred.
