JOB DESCRIPTION:
Insight Global's automotive repair client is looking to bring a seasoned Compressor Technician to their team in Gaithersburg, MD. The client is looking for candidates with a strong work ethic to service all major compressor brands. This role is ideal for a hands-on expert who knows compressed air systems inside and out.
Responsibilities:
- Service and Troubleshoot Air Compressors and compressed air systems
- Diagnose advanced mechanical, electrical and pneumatic issues
- Perform Preventative Maintenance and system inspections
Deliver top-tier customer and field support by communicating with customers and managing job timelines

Required Skills & Experience
MUST HAVES:
- 5+ years of experience with industrial or automotive air
- Troubleshooting expertise:
○ Rotary screw, reciprocating
- Intermediate electrical troubleshooting knowledge
- Ability to work independently under limited supervision
- Valid driver's license, pass background
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
PLUSSES:
- OEM training/certifications
- Experience within the oil and gas industry
Experience with dryers, filters, and air piping systems
