Job Description
Design, integrate, and deploy Air Traffic Control (ATC) project IP based voice communications systems / subsystems to include analog protocol converters for radio and telephony, networking, and air traffic controller operator and administrator acceptance.
ı Provide technical support from project initiation to closeout, bringing a requirement validation and customer satisfaction first mindset
ı Orchestrate and conduct internal and customer system design and requirement events within project schedule and budget.
ı Translate customer needs into requirements and competitive solutions maximizing R&S content by creating and maintaining a verification cross reference matrix (VCRM) throughout the project lifecycle
ı Review, and at times derive, customer requirements for compliance against company products, establish requirement success criteria, and assist in allocation per test case
ı Develop system architecture according to customer requirements and CONOPS, including high level to detailed designs, call/network data flows, sequence diagrams, and review / approve technical drawings and specifications from design and product teams
ı Develop quality system design and configuration documentation in coordination with test, design engineers and peer product engineering teams
ı Support test team with test planning and support test execution.
ı Support training team with event execution and customer management.
ı Serve as technical interface between customers, product design and development teams, and project management.
ı Lead product certification by coordinating with external labs and managing product assets in both Canada and the United States
ı Install and configure networking and computing systems.
ı Provide expert level technical support and troubleshooting of voice communication systems.

Required Skills & Experience
ı B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or relevant engineering degree.
ı 5+ years of systems test experience in telecom/networking industry with strong understanding of process, development and execution of US Government test programs.
ı Proficient in relevant business tools including MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint.
ı Proficient with requirements management tools such as DOORS, etc.
ı Proficient with project orchestration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams
ı Ability to operate with considerable autonomy and minimal supervision and deliver high quality artifacts
ı Solid understanding and experience in radio and voice communication systems (VCS)
ı Excellent understanding of industry best practices and standards.
ı Ability to travel throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe, up to 30%.
ı Strong communication and customer interface skills (verbal and written).
ı Proactive, highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented and self-managed.
