Insight Global is seeking a qualified TSSCI Poly Systems Administrator/Help Desk Technician in support of one of our large federal clients in Fort Meade, MD. This candidate will support mission-critical government systems and users by providing Tier I and Tier II help desk support, system administration assistance, and first-contact resolution for software, database, and system-related issues within a secure environment. This candidate will be responsible for ensuring availability, reliability, and This person usability of government databases, applications, and systems by responding to user issues, troubleshooting technical problems, supporting system access, and escalating complex issues as needed. The role directly supports operational continuity and end-user productivity across a classified enterprise environment. Their day to day will include but is not limited to:
• Serve as a Tier I / Tier II Help Desk technician, providing first-contact resolution for user issues related to:
o Government databases and applications
o Operating systems and desktop software
o Account access, permissions, and password resets
• Receive, document, track, and resolve Help Desk tickets and phone calls using a ticketing system, ensuring issues are resolved within established SLAs.
• Perform initial troubleshooting and root cause analysis for software, system, and user access issues; escalate unresolved issues to Tier III or engineering teams as required.
• Assist with systems administration tasks, including:
o User account creation and maintenance
o System access validation
o Monitoring system health and availability
• Support users by providing clear communication, guidance, and technical explanations, maintaining a strong customer service mindset in a secure government environment.
• Perform basic system maintenance, configuration checks, and validation activities under general supervision.
• Assist with documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), troubleshooting guides, and knowledge-base articles to improve first-call resolution.
• Operate in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment, managing multiple tickets and priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Required Skills & Experience
• Active TS/SCI Polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred in a technical discipline)
• 2+ years of Systems Administrator experience
• IAT Level I certification, such as:
o A+ CE
o Network+ CE
o SSCP
o CCNA-Security
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• IAT Level I and IAT Level II certification, such as:
o Security+ CE
o GSEC
o A+ CE
o Network+ CE
o SSCP
o CCNA-Security
• 5+ years of Systems Administrator experience
• 1–2 years of Help Desk experience supporting Tier I and Tier II users
• Prior experience supporting government or DoD environments
• Familiarity with secure networks, enterprise applications, and classified operational workflows
