Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Network Operations Watch Officer for a mission-critical environment supporting government operations. This individual will serve as a key liaison between network operations, engineering teams, and leadership by monitoring and validating outage data impacting physical network infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of the physical layer—including fiber, copper, circuits, and transport—and can quickly assess operational impact while communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role operates in a 24/7 watch floor setting and plays a vital role in ensuring network reliability and situational awareness for mission success.
Compensation:
$40/hr to $43/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
Active TS/SCI clearance
Bachelors Degree and 2 YOE of networking experience or a total of 6 YOE
Strong Network Operations background
Solid understanding of physical layer networking
Ability to review and validate ticket information
Strong verbal communication skills (customer-facing with government/Battle Captain)
Experience in a NOC / Watch Floor environment
Ability to assess and communicate operational/mission impact
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience in DISA / DoD network environments
Background in: Transport Network Technician roles, Circuit provisioning/support or Telecommunications infrastructure
Familiarity with automated ticket ingestion systems
Experience updating operations boards / dashboards
Prior exposure to mission-critical outage management
