TSSCI IA Engineer

An employer is looking for a IA Engineer to sit at Fort Meade. This candidate will lead VDI operations and system security efforts. Responsibilities include managing VDI environments, supporting escalated incidents, conducting system assessments, and implementing security controls in line with NIST RMF and STIGs. The role involves briefing stakeholders, evaluating technologies, maintaining documentation, and mentoring junior staff in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Compensation:
$65/hr to $72/hr.

Active TSSCI Clearance
Requires BS degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience.
Hold and active security certification that meets DOD 8570 Experience with DoD implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and governing directives (NIST, CNSS, DSS, etc.)
NIST RMF Assessment and Authorization (A&A) experience.
Experience with operating IT security tools, such as ACAS, HBSS, DISA STIGs
Prior experience working Cybersecurity in accordance with US Government (USG), Department of Defense (DOD
Ability to read and run ACAS Scans

Vulnerability assessment and analysis experience utilizing ACAS/NESSUS and DISA STIGs
