Job Description
An employer is looking for a Cyber Planner to sit at Fort Meade. In this role, you will lead and support future operations planning and the execution of defensive cyber operations, applying operational art and design to develop effective cyberspace plans. You will integrate relevant elements of JIPOE, conduct deliberate and crisis-action planning using the Joint Planning Process (JPP), and guide diverse stakeholder teams to produce plans aligned with the Commander’s priorities and intent. Responsibilities include developing Staff Estimates, supporting Operational Planning Teams and Working Groups, participating in B2C2WG activities, and delivering briefings to senior leaders. You will author and staff CONOPS and Level 1–4 plans, produce issue papers and white papers, and create mission-type orders for defensive cyberspace campaigns. Additionally, you will develop assessment indicators to measure operational effectiveness, ensure synchronization with subordinate elements, coordinate across commands and agencies, and contribute to contingency campaign planning for anticipated operations.
Compensation:
$72/hr to $75/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 8 to 10 years of applicable combined education and experience; related years of experience is accepted in lieu of a degree.
Joint Professional Military Education Level II (JPME II) certification/qualification.
Demonstrated experience integrating multiple stakeholder and operating environment inputs while developing plans.
Demonstrated working knowledge of Joint Publication 3-12 (JP 3-12) “Cyberspace Operations.”
Demonstrated working knowledge of JP-3 “Operations, and JP 5-0 “Joint Planning.”
Demonstrated experience briefing Senior Executive Service (SES) and General Officer/Flag Officer (GO/FO) leadership.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with DISA and DoD Networks.
Completion of military cyber planning courses (ACOPC, JCOPC, JACWC, etc.)
Completion of non-DoD cyber certifications (Net+, SEC+, CISM, CISSP, etc.)
Understanding of Directive Authority for Cyberspace Operations (DACO)
