Secret Windows Engineer

Insight Global is looking to hire a Systems Engineer to support a newly awarded defense contract in Fort Meade, MD. This persons responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Act as the Team Lead for system deployment, operations, and maintenance engineering for the software suite.
Design, implement, and maintain Windows based infrastructure.
Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, and User Accounts.
Implement and administer security policies in relation to STIG compliance and DOD policies/best practices.
Participate in the decommissioning of v5 systems and transition into v6 cloud-based environments.
Ensure system optimization and recommend emerging technologies.
Analyze and document functional and technical requirements for system upgrades and modernization efforts.
Work closely with developers and test team to ensure functionality across all aspects of the environment.
Mentor and lead other members of the team, including ticket escalation/resolution.

8+ Years of experience in Windows Systems Engineering forming maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of systems
Work within Active Directory for user permissions/access management

Experience working within a cloud based environment
