Job Description

A large manufacturing is looking for an IT SAP BA to join their team. As an IT/SAP Business Analyst, you will collaborate with the Transformation Office and SAP team to represent Specialtys business processes. You will act as a liaison among Specialty stakeholders to understand the capabilities required to meet organizational goals and objectives, to document business processes and needs, and to capture requirements and user stories in a way that can be easily leveraged for upcoming solution design, build, and execution. As the IT/SAP Business Analyst, partnering with Product Owners, will own and drive requirements that result in documented user stories which help the business areas prioritize work for sprints, and guide development teams on solution design.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business SMEs to facilitate and map current business scenarios
Partner with global workstream leads/SMEs to understand future state business scenarios
Provide guidance to business SMEs on areas of significant change
Partner with Data Management Leader and SMEs to map critical data points across business scenarios
Partner with business SMEs to document reporting and analytics needs
Partner with Project Managers and workstream SMEs to document Key Design requirements for architecture approval
Leads the development of detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and system Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) for approved projects including:
o Facilitating requirements elicitation sessions with the user community
o Developing and documenting use cases, etc. to demonstrate requirements
o determining overall priorities for all requirements
Communicate functional and non-functional requirements to the solution architect
Partner with solution architect to ensure initial alignment between business requirements and IT solution design concepts, including supporting feasibility studies as appropriate
Partner with Testing Analysts to ensure test plans are developed and executed in alignment with internal standards and external compliance requirements
Ensure User Acceptance and Functional Testing is complete and confirm test results meet documented business needs
Partner with the User Experience and Transition Communities of Practice to ensure training plans and materials support overall business requirements

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years as an IT BA with SAP experience in one or more of the following: OTC, FTP, PTM, LWM
Supply Chain & Product Mgt (part mgt, specs, BOMs, CoA/CoC)
Research business requirements and document the relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices)
Ability to manage small-medium project and shepherd changes through IT change management process.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in a GxP environment with knowledge of validation processes
