A client of Insight Global is looking for a Software Instructor to join their team. In this role, you will train personnel to identify, troubleshoot, and remediate software issues. You will collaborate with software programmers and test and integration teams to code, test, and integrate software updates for the COBRA Command and Control Center operational software, gaining proficiency to train students. Your responsibilities will include supporting the development, installation, integration, and testing of software updates for customer delivery. As a subject matter expert, you will perform skills gap analysis and develop and implement courses to teach customer personnel to code, test software updates, and integrate modifications into the COBRA Command and Control Center operational software baseline. Additionally, you will communicate project status to the COBRA Command and Control Center Training IPT Lead.
Compensation: $52/hr. -- 59/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Bachelors degree in computer science with 10 years of experience, a masters degree in computer science with 5 years of experience.
Working knowledge in two of the following languages: C++, C, Java, HTML/XML Fortran
Very knowledgeable of Instructional System Design (ISD) rooted in Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate (ADDIE) methodology.
Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies
Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Demonstrated ability to use basic manual tools.
Practitioner knowledge of software programming languages, test and integration
Experience to program, test and integrate software for military systems
Certified Military (Navy, Army, USAF) Instructor with programming experience
