Insight Global is looking for a Top Secret QA Test Engineer sitting hybrid out of Columbia, MD. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans to identify software defects and ensure optimal performance. The QA role will involve collaborating with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to enhance the quality of our solutions and drive continuous improvement in our testing processes. Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
Develop, implement, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of software applications.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure software reliability.
Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
Document software defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software developers.
Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
Compensation:
$35-48/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
