Insight Global is seeking to hire a Systems Test Engineer in Columbia, MD to work for an international technology company that develops communciation and information systems for air traffic management. This individual should have a strong background in hardware and software system-level testing of Mission critical and/or Air Traffic Management systems, network infrastructure, and radio-telephone communications software and hardware elements. This role will conduct and provide support for informal testing, customer acceptance testing, and other test related activites. Additional responsibilities include:
- Perform functional, maintenance/reliability, stability/load, performance, analysis security, voice quality, and environmental tests
- Manage test scripts and test equipment
- Identify and fully document any defects/anomalies and determine how to recreate the issue
- Maintain records of test results

- Experience with test tools and equipment (oscilloscope, transmission impairment measurement set (TIMS), Multimeter, Viavi T-BERD, Sage Multi-Channel Test Instrument
- Experience with network analysis tools (Wireshark, Ethereal)
- Experience with Bug tracking systems (JIRA)
