Job Description

Insight Global is seeking to hire a full time RF Field Service Technician supporting an international electronics group specializing in the fields of electronic test equipment, broadcast & media, cybersecurity, radiomonitoring, radiorelocating, and radiocommunication. This individual will be sitting in one of the following locations, close to a major airport: Denver, CO; NY/NJ/PA, and Portland/Beaverton, OR. This individual will be tasked out to conduct on-site or in-house repair of equipment, diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform repairs for clients based on a ticketing system. The type of equipment will include broadcast amplifier systems (individual boxes or inside of a rack), airport security scanners (QPS), and antennas. They will receive a field delivery schedule as well as independently schedule themselves. This position requires 80% travel out of the state for 1-2 days per stay. The travel will be expensed. When this individual is not traveling, they will be working remotely and troubleshooting remotely. It will be the employee's responsibility to accurately prepare daily logs and reports of work performed, including hours spent and inventory used for each assignment. As this position is client facing, we are looking for an individual that exudes professionalism and can represent the company in a customer support role.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2-4+ years of RF experience

o Familiar with highpower RF and IP Networking

- Must come from a background in the security scanner business

- Mechanically inclined

- Professional Demeanor (will be client facing)

- Ability to travel 50% of the time

- Ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Familiar with terminal applications such as Tera Term

- EMC test chamber applications

- TSA Background
