Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking an Epic Principal Trainer–level eLearning & MST Specialist to support a large healthcare system’s Epic Training initiatives during multiple high-visibility implementations. This consultant will play a critical role in hands-on MST build and the development of high-quality eLearning and training materials tied directly to patient build efforts. The initial focus will be a fast-approaching Compass Rose go-live, followed by Rehab and Behavioral Health implementations throughout the year. This is an urgent, project-based role ideal for a certified Epic Principal Trainer who can quickly translate Epic content into effective learning experiences and thrive in a deadline-driven environment.

Day-to-Day:
• Build, load, and maintain Epic MST training environments
• Perform MST builds and rebuilds using Epic cookbooks and provided scripts
• Develop and update eLearning modules, exercise guides, and supplemental training materials
• Translate Epic workflows and patient build requirements into effective training content
• Support Epic training initiatives with initial focus on Compass Rose, followed by Rehab and Behavioral Health
• Collaborate closely with the UMMS Epic Training Team and key stakeholders
• Support go-live readiness for Compass Rose (go-live June 22) and downstream implementations

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Haves:
• Epic Principal Trainer (PT) certification
• TED 300 certification
• Hands-on experience building and rebuilding Epic MST
• Direct experience with patient build–focused Epic training
• Proven experience developing Epic eLearning content
• Strong proficiency with Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise, etc.)
• Ability to leverage Epic cookbooks, scripts, and workflows to build MST and translate content into eLearning
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote, fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:
• Prior experience supporting Compass Rose implementations
• Experience with Rehab and/or Behavioral Health Epic implementations
• Prior UMMS or large health system Epic training experience
• Experience supporting multiple concurrent Epic projects or phased go-lives
