Job Description

A financial services client is seeking an Associate of Strategy & Capital Markets to join their team. This individual will play a pivotal role in supporting senior leadership with strategic growth initiatives, capital raising, model preparation and presentations for their board, investors and other audiences. More specifically, this position involves creating and maintaining detailed Excel models for the CEO and Head of Strategy, as well as for key stakeholder partners. These models will be essential for financial planning, risk management, strategic decision-making, and performance monitoring. The Associate will translate the goals discussed by senior leadership into actionable models and numbers, and develop PowerPoint presentations to be used quarterly with the board to showcase progress. Precision and numerical accuracy are crucial, along with the ability to effectively communicate insights through slide decks, though the associate will not be presenting these themselves. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with the client's FIG group. Ideal candidates will have experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or asset management, and possess strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, project management, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
