Electrical Engineer- Vehicle Systems

Insight Global is seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to support the development of advanced ground vehicle electrical systems. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in vehicle-level system architecture, power electronics, and harness and cable routing, along with 5+ years of hands-on industry experience. Prior involvement with defense programs and military vehicle platforms is highly desired. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, integration, testing, and verification of electrical systems, ensuring they meet rigorous military specifications, safety requirements, and mission-critical performance standards. $90,000 to $130,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

-BS in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
-5+ years in vehicle systems and power electronics
-Experience with routed cabling and harness design
-Familiarity with MIL-STD requirements and EMI/EMC compliance
-Knowledgeable in military‑standard compliance for cabling and harness design, documentation, and testing/validation
-Defense contracting and military vehicle experience
-Proficiency in electrical CAD tools
-Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

-Hybrid/electric propulsion experience, CAN/Ethernet protocols, harsh environment standards.
