Job Description

A large logistics customer is looking for a junior SCADA Engineer. You will be responsible for the installations, testing, and commissioning of baggage handling systems. Listed below are some of your daily responsibilities.

Configure SCADA software on servers and workstations.
Ensure reliable communication between controllers and the SCADA system.
Identify and resolve issues related to connectivity, data accuracy, and device communication.
Troubleshoot and resolve all issues reported by controls engineers during commissioning and testing.

Required Skills & Experience

2-3 years of experience developing SCADA applications
Minium 1 year of experience writing SQL scripts and working with SQL Server
Experience in installing and programming the Rockwell FactoryTalk suite and/or Inductive Automation Ignition
Hands-on experience developing applications using FactoryTalk SE server and client architecture
Strong understanding of network systems and troubleshooting techniques
Ability to write test plans and demonstrate system functionality

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Background in controls maintenance or baggage handling systems
Bachelors Degree
