Insight Global is seeking a Director of Distributed Generation Partnerships for one of our clients local to the Baltimore, MD. This Director will be responsible for leading the growth in their distributed energy assets portfolio that includes solar, batteries, cogeneration and microgrids. This role is focused on building partnerships with third-party asset owners and developers to bring these resources to our client's programs across the US. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in an external facing role ideal for business development leader and thrives on building relationships, negotiating deals, and driving growth in a fast-evolving industry.
This position is technically remote, however we are seeking a candidate that is located on the east coast and is comfortable coming into the Baltimore office at least once a month. Must also be comfortable traveling within the country to different trade shows and work events as needed.

Experience with Demand Response (DR) programs helpful.
Experience working in any of the North American deregulated power markets (PJM, NE-ISO, NYISO, ERCOT, MISO, SPP, and CAISO) is a plus
