Job Description
We are seeking an Account Executive to focus on selling demand response, energy management, and automated demand response (ADR) services to commercial, industrial, and institutional clients. This role involves identifying opportunities through various channels and building strong relationships with facility personnel, energy brokers, consultants, and providers of energy efficiency, automation, and distributed energy solutions. The ideal candidate will be based in Texas and will manage the enrollment of demand response programs into ERCOT (Electric Reliability Council of Texas), the Independent System Operator responsible for maintaining electricity grid reliability in the region.
Salary: $105,000-$125,000

Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of B2B or consultative sales experience, or energy-related sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field
- Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
Skilled in developing and delivering presentations
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and CRM systems (including CPower tools)
- Effective collaboration with operations and customer management teams.
Proven ability to manage multiple sales opportunities, prioritize tasks, and maintain consistent follow-up
- Customer-focused with a strong sense of urgency in resolving issues
- Deep understanding of regional energy programs, market structures, and compliance rules
- Experience in solution selling using building management systems or automation controls
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Familiarity with the oil and gas sector is a strong plus.
