Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a TS/SCI Information System Security Officer (ISSO), to sit onsite in Aberdeen, MD. The day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around maintaining the security and compliance of information systems across multiple domains and classifications. With having a TS/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain a CI Poly, you will leverage your experience (MS with 5 years or BS with 7 years) and IAM II certification (such as CAP, CASP+CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO, or HCISPP) to ensure the operational security posture of assigned systems. You will implement security controls in accordance with DOD-I-8500, DOD-I-8510, ICD 503, NIST 800-53, CNSSI 1253, Army AR 25-2, and RMF requirements. Utilizing tools like eMASS, XACTA, or similar documentation platforms, you will maintain and update cybersecurity documentation, ensuring it is current and accessible. Your role will involve preparing, distributing, and maintaining security plans and SOPs, as well as providing guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with IC, DoD, and Army regulations. Additionally, you should be prepared to travel up to 25% of the time to support various projects and initiatives.

Compensation:
$76/hr to $98/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Poly
MS and 5 years of relevant experience, or a BS and 7 years
IAM II Cert
o CAP, CASP+CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO, HCISPP
Implementation experience with DOD-I-8500, DOD-I-8510, ICD 503, NIST 800-53, CNSSI 1253, Army AR 25-2, and RMF security controls
Experience maintaining experience posture IS across multiple domains and classifications to meet IC, DoD, and Army regulations.
Experience with eMASS, XACTA, or similar documentation tools
Ensure cybersecurity documentation is current and accessible; prepare, distribute, and maintain security plans and SOPS
Willing to travel 25%

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Review unit or product vendor RMF BOE and provides guidance and oversight.
Fully understand DISA Port Protocol, and Services Management (PPSM) requirement and able to obtain PPSM account for management of PPSM for supporting systems.
