Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team onsite at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland. This role focuses on supporting unmanned aircraft systems by analyzing regulations, developing actionable policies, and reviewing technical requests and system architectures for compliance.
The ideal candidate will be confident working with senior stakeholders, offering informed recommendations on technical requirements and best practices. In addition to collaborative efforts, this individual should be self-driven in conducting research and development to explore current and emerging technologies relevant to unmanned aircraft systems.
Adaptability and flexibility are key, as the scope of this role will continue to evolve over time.
Compensation: $65/hr to $70/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
•Active Secret Clearance with eligibility to upgrade to a TS/SCI
•BS Degree (preferably in a technical field)
•Experience advising stakeholders on best practices for existing cyber security policy within the DoD
•Understanding of how cyber policy applies to hardware/physical devices (mobile devices) not just ethernet
•Understanding of encryption/cryptography (i.e. difference between encryption and hashing)
•Ability to determine weakness in cyber policy, if a product meets a guideline and if not what we need to do to make it match guidelines
•Ability to communicate with various groups and translate technical information to non-technical people
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
•Experience and knowledge of RF communications and RF theory
•Experience with UAS/UAV/Drones
•Experience with mobile devices at a technical level
