Senior Project Manager

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Project Manager sitting in the New Orleans Louisiana area. This role manages the development and delivery of a capital project or program to which he or she is assigned and focuses on the achievement of project cost and schedule objectives while achieving excellence in the areas of project safety and quality. Works directly with the Project Team to ensure project is delivered with cost and schedule certainty. Manages risks and risk management issues to ensure risks are identified and mitigated. Works directly with Capital Projects Project Controls group to ensure alignment with Stage Gate Process and to ensure that proper project controls are being implemented; to ensure costs are managed; change control is established and controlled; and that contingency is properly controlled. Provides direct management and support to Project Team members throughout the project lifecycle. Works closely with business unit contractor representatives to achieve capital project objectives. Report and present large capital project status on a regular basis to business unit and corporate level executives.

- 15+ years of experience as Project Manager for major capital projects ($1+ billion)

- Strong Mechanical background

- Heavy experience with large infrastructure construction
