IT Project Management Manager

Insight Global is looking for an IT Project Management Manager to support a client in New Orleans, LA. The Manager provides direction, oversight, and leadership to ensure the successful execution of all IT projects, adherence to best practices, project status reporting, and delivery of high-quality outcomes. This position possesses strong project management expertise and a passion for driving continuous improvement. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and vendors, to facilitate communication, resolve conflicts, and drive project success. They will foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by championing best practices in project management and encouraging the adoption of new tools and techniques. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that may require occasional travel to New Orleans if not local.

-Bachelors Degree

-6+ years of project management experience, including strategic planning experience and development of project framework

-Excellent understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with experience in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies

-Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project goals and objectives

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

-Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and issues and develop appropriate mitigation strategies

-Experience in driving process improvements and implementing best practices in project management

-Proficiency in project management software tools such as Jira or similar platforms

-Ability to thrive, adapt, and be flexible in a fast-paced dynamic work environment

-Strong understanding of project reporting and metrics, ensuring that stakeholders are well-informed, decisions are data-driven, and projects stay on track

-Proven senior-level project management experience, including strategic planning experience and development of project management frameworks.

-Experience in higher education.

-Proficient in leveraging Jira for project management tracking and reporting.

-Experience in demand management or capacity planning.

-Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
