An Insight Global client is seeking to hire a plant operations manager south of Lafayette, LA. This person will be responsible for the overall operations of the company's new manufacturing facility. This includes the module recycling plant, ultra-pure-water plant, wastewater treatment plant, site waste management and laboratory operations. In addition, this person will be responsible for managing costs around capital expenditures, process improvement, EHS standards and product quality. A priority for this role is experience in ultra-pure water facilities. The facility is brand new and this position is one of the first positions to be hired at the facility. The individual who fills this role will be responsible for helping with hiring for the remaining openings at this facility. This role will be on-site M-F 8 AM to 5 PM and will require 10% - 20% domestic travel.
Salary for this role is between $95k to $135k but exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science or 5 to 7 years of relevant plant experience
- Experience managing plant operations of advanced manufacturing facilities from budgets (AOP/POR), capital expenditures, hiring, EHS etc.
- Technical knowledge with chemical processing and ultra-pure water processes to rinse and dilute chemicals that are applied to solar panel wafers.
- Experience with wastewater management including recycling, and hazardous waste management.
- Experience supporting lab operations to analyze liquid and solid samples from recycling, wastewater, ultra-pure water, EHS and manufacturing processes.
