Job Description

We are seeking a skilled engineer for an onsite position in Geismar, LA, operating on a 9/80 schedule. The salary range is competitive, from $100,000 to $200,000, based on experience. This role involves designing new plants and upgrades, improving production processes, managing capital projects, and evaluating new technologies. Responsibilities include supporting day-to-day plant operations, identifying continuous improvement opportunities, supporting turnaround activities, analyzing plant configurations, producing process design packages, reviewing engineering designs, designing plant modifications, and providing engineering support for new plant development.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3-10 years of experience working in a process-related industry, preferably in biomass-based diesel, edible oils, petroleum, petrochemical, ethanol, or other renewable fuels industries
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering
- Experience utilizing Aspen Hysys

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience utilizing Aspen Plus
- Knowledge of ChemCAD or AutoCad
- Experience with hydraulic modeling software
