Job Description

An EPC firm is seeking an E&I Superintendent to work at their client site in Destrehan, LA. This individual is responsible for the overall work performance of all crews and craft discipline workers on a job site. This person will be overseeing Craft disciplines such as Mechanical (piping, equipment (stationary or rotating), structural, steel, etc.), Electrical & Instrumentation (cable tray, wire, pulls, terminations, etc.), Soft Crafts (scaffolding, paint, insulation, etc.), or any other Division (Pipe Shop, Paint Shop, etc.) as specified for the project or client needs. If Specialty Subcontractors are required for the execution of the work, then the Superintendent is a key coordinator for the Subcontractor's inter-woven activities at the work fronts. Responsible and accountable for the safety, quality, and resource allocation requirements of the assigned construction activities in support of all work fronts.

Required Skills & Experience

Ability to read prints and construction drawings

Leadership experience

Experience on an industrial construction project

Ability to develop performance improvement plans for craft or tasks

Must meet all safety and security requirements at the assigned job site

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, manufacturers manuals, and instructions

6+ years of experience with the craft discipline to be managed
