Job Description

A large wholesale distributor is seeking a HR Coordinator to join their team. In this role you will collaborate with the HR Manager and IT hiring managers to understand staffing needs. Day to day you will assist in creating job postings, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interviews. You will conduct initial screenings of candidates and schedule interviews, and maintain communication with applicants throughout the recruitment process. Additionally, you will be responsible for onboarding and orientation, which includes: ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with employment laws, provide information to new employees regarding company policies, benefits, and working conditions, maintain accurate records related to employee hiring, transfers, and terminations.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in HR coordination or administrative roles.
- Familiarity with IT industry recruitment processes is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
