Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the execution of large-scale data center construction projects from early development through commissioning and handoff to operations. This role sits within the Design & Construction team and will be responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery, including budget, schedule, procurement, vendor coordination, and on-site execution.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on construction leader with experience delivering complex, mission-critical infrastructure projects, and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end delivery of construction projects including:
- Preconstruction, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout
- Manage project schedule, budget, and risk, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders
- Lead General Contractor (GC) and vendor management, including RFP development, bid leveling, and contract execution
- Coordinate across cross-functional teams
- Design, procurement, finance, legal, and operations
- Oversee equipment procurement and logistics, including owner-furnished equipment (OFCI)
- Drive construction execution onsite
- Lead project meetings
- Monitor progress and mitigate delays
- Ensure quality, safety, and adherence to plans
- Manage financials and change control by approving invoices, evaluating and controlling change orders, and tracking budgets vs. actuals
- Lead commissioning readiness and project closeout, including documentation (as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties) and turnover to operations team

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of construction project management experience

Proven experience managing large-scale commercial, industrial, or mission-critical builds

Experience owning:

Project budgets, schedules, and cost tracking
Vendor procurement and contract management
Change orders and financial controls

Strong knowledge of:

Mechanical and electrical systems (MEP)
Construction drawings and specifications
CPM scheduling

Demonstrated experience:
Leading cross-functional teams
Managing general contractors and subcontractors
Driving projects from preconstruction through closeout

Willingness to travel extensively and be onsite regularly

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Data center construction experience (hyperscale strongly preferred)
Experience with ground-up builds and/or large expansion projects
Critical infrastructure (power, cooling, UPS, generators)
Background in heavy industrial construction (oil & gas, infrastructure, large-capex builds)
Experience with Owner-furnished equipment (OFCI/OFE)
Experience with commissioning and turnover for mission-critical environments
Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, MS Project
Certifications: PMP, PE, or relevant construction/design certifications
