The Sr. Information Technology Analyst is responsible for providing tier 3 and 4 support. Oversees the technological needs of 8 manufacturing plants, 5 service center warehouses, and sales offices across the US which encompasses 500+ salary employees, 100+ virtual and physical servers, 300+ network switches,1200+ PCs and network attached devices. Supervises and trains other information technology analysts. Designing, installing, and implementing network infrastructure for various projects within manufacturing plants, service centers, and sales offices across the country. Including the management of copper and fiber installation & termination for workstations, PoE devices such as cameras, phones, time clocks, and badge readers. Server/network and IDFcabinet build-outs. Highly prioritizing documentation and clean cable management. Management of Microsoft 365 Exchange Online Email systems, Azure/Entra AD, Sharepoint, Teams, and Office. Carrying out email transport rules, filtering, policies & rules, message tracing, alerting, conditional access policies, authentication, risk assessment, permissions & device management. Assists with configuring, installing & troubleshooting Cisco Catalyst series & HP Aruba series network switches, Motorola WAPS, Ubiquiti WAPs & P2P devices. Provide daily maintenance for end-user PCs, physical & virtual servers, networks, phone systems, web and spam filtering, printers and print servers, on and off-site backups, cloud and local anti-virus management, email management with on-site MS exchange and Office 365, web domain and DNS registration, as well as client-specific needs involving requests. This person will directly report to the director of Information Technology.
Other duties will include:
* Install, configure, and maintain Dell Poweredge servers, Dell Equalogic SANs, Synology SANs as well as various
other network attached hardware.
* Maintain VMware virtual computer and server environments.
* Administer server & PC security with Symantec antivirus hybrid and Cisco Meraki Device Management.
* Configure and maintain surveillance security camera systems, servers, and software.
* Administrate telecommunication via Avaya phone system.
* Management of the help desk Zendesk ticketing system. This includes adding/removing agents, end users, grouping,
permissions, company facing web portal with how-to's & FAQ, custom ticket forms & attributes, hosting the tech team
knowledgebase for procedures & documentation.
* Running monthly reports to be presented to director of IT and corporate office staff.
* Orchestrate company backups and file retention by utilizing Veeam for servers and Unitrends for local PCs.
* Prepare and install AV tech & electronics such as wall mounting TVs, conference room sound systems, video
conferencing hardware, wireless display, wireless audio devices, in-wall cable management. This also includes
relevant drywall and drop ceiling modifications & cable runs.
* Administer various services and solutions such as DialMyCalls, Survey Monkey, KnowBe4, Basecamp, Kyocera Net
Viewer, Adobe Creative Cloud Apps, Microsoft Teams, FIleCenter, LogMeIn Rescue, and Slack.
