Job Description

Desired Skills and Experience:
• CPA certification or progress toward one
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including consolidation and equity accounting.
• Experience preparing consolidated financial statements.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling).
• Experience supporting or leading year‑end audits.
• Experience with acquisition accounting (purchase price allocation, opening balance sheet entries.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle shifting priorities.
Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for a Manager of Financial Reporting to oversee the full cycle of monthly and annual financial reporting, ensuring the accuracy of consolidated financial statements and compliance with U.S. GAAP. Their days involve reviewing general ledger activity, managing equity‑related transactions, guiding a Senior Corporate Accountant, and monitoring acquisition‑related entries such as holdbacks and earn‑outs. They will regularly reconcile net income allocations across legal entities, review consolidation entries, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to assess the accounting impact of business activities. Each month, they lead the preparation and review of consolidated financials, validate equity roll forwards, and implement process improvements. Throughout the year, they will support quarterly reporting requirements, update technical accounting memos, and evaluate the implications of new acquisitions. At year‑end, they direct the audit process, manage auditor requests, and prepare financial statements and footnotes, ensuring a smooth and timely close.
