Insight Global is looking for an ADMS Engineer for an extended contract opportunity for a large utility company.
This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of power transmission systems. Overall responsibilities will include configuring, testing, and deploying advanced applications in GE ADMS ( (e.g., Volt/VAR Optimization, FLISR, State Estimation) with a focus on voltage regulation. It can be expected that this individual will also integrate and model field devices (capacitor banks, voltage regulators, line reclosers) into the ADMS environment, collaborate with SCADA, field operations, and IT teams to ensure accurate telemetry and control of voltage-affecting devices, and analyze system performance and recommend tuning or configuration changes to improve voltage profiles and reduce losses.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent field.
Professional working experience with GE SCADA in a ADMS, EMS, or OMS capacity
Background in automating, scripting, or programming
Experience in a distribution operations center
Professional working experience understanding voltage and power quality optimization
