Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Engineer for an extended contract opportunity located in both the Louisville or Lexington area. This person will report to the corporate office on a hybrid schedule. Primary responsibilities of this electrical engineer will include creating protection and control drawings, 3 line drawings, design packages, schematics, etc. They will be joining a team of 9 other engineers and work closely with this team. The ideal candidate will have an extensive knowledge of protection and control background as well as experience with distribution or transmission substations.

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field.
Professional working experience in a utility industry.
3-5+ years of professional working experience with PNC (Protection and Control)
Professional working experience with Transmission substations
